While waiting on my cousin's detention to end, I wrote this short thingy. The City In The Clouds They had been in the woods for hours now. The trees swallowed them up along with the darkness. With each step Naminè and Alexia took, twigs cracked beneath them. The sky was a midnight violet with stars sprinkled about every few miles or so. Clouds covered up the moon just barely, starlight revealing barren branches. Alexia's feet bled into the ground, turning the remaining clumps of snow vivid red.
